Von der Ankunft bis zur Abreise hat Sabine mit ihrem Team für uns alles nahezu perfekt organisiert. Die Lodge selbst mit ihrem kleinen Pool sowie der Möglichkeit, Frühstück und Abendessen unter freiem Himmel einnehmen zu können, hat uns auch sehr gut gefallen! Auch die von Sabine geplanten Ausflüge waren sehr gut. Wir haben dadurch die Umgebung mit ihren vielen Facetten näher kennen gelernt und uns insgesamt sehr wohl und gut aufgehoben gefühlt!

We had an incredible stay with Sabine and team at Wild Blue to celebrate my birthday and our anniversary. They went out of their way to make us feel special. We chose a package that included daily activities, like bush walks, game drives, a massage, and a Panorama tour. It was worth every bit! Philip was our guide throughout and he was a pleasure. The food was amazing. They really thought of and took care of everything. Definitely recommend!

Good that animals comes so close during the day, that's what guests want to see, we always visit game reserve to animals.

From the moment we arrived at The Wild Blue Lodge, we were swept away by the breathtaking beauty and tranquility of the surroundings. Nestled in a pristine natural setting, this lodge offers more than just a place to stay—it provides a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life.

We stayed at the Wild Blue Lodge for our honeymoon at the end of a month long trip to South Africa. We were blown away by the beautiful lodge, with its stunning views of the reserve with the Drakensburg mountains behind. We stayed in the Honeymoon suite, which is wonderfully cosy with its high thatched ceiling and beautiful private outdoor area and plunge pool. The food overall was excellent and the mealtime service impeccable. Our favourite thing was how well cared for we felt by Sabine and everyone at the lodge. We felt more like guests in the home of old friends than anonymous faces in a hotel. We loved our game drive and Panorama Route tour with Philip, whose warmth, enthusiasm and knowledge of wildlife left a lasting impression on us both. Only wish we could have stayed longer!

We stayed at the Wild Blue Lodge for 4 nights at Easter. The lodge is about 30 minutes' drive from the main road, but the path (gravel road) goes through the so-called Greater Kruger Park, and so we already came across the first giraffes and monkeys. The lodge is simply an oasis of calm, the rooms are magical (we had Fig Cottage and Baobab Cottage). The service is fantastic, Sabine and her team are great. We enjoyed a great massage in nature and took a walk to the Ollifant River with Philip. We would particularly like to highlight the great food! The cuisine in South Africa is generally very good and, above all, the meat is of very high quality and tasty (due to the completely different free and species-appropriate animal husbandry), but the cook Molly also conjured up a fantastic menu every day for my two vegetarians in the family. High praise and 100 percent recommendation for a stay at the Wild Blue Lodge.

The experience at the Wild Blue Lodge is just outstanding. We have been to the Lodge several times and always love to come back. The rooms are stunning, we were in the Honeymoon Suite this time and had our own private pool - absolutely wonderful. The lodge is beautifully decorated with a lot of love for details. The staff is just amazing and the food is always very tasty.

It was a remarkable stay and we are already looking forward to come again.

The staff are very friendly and the new manager, Sabine is great. Fantastic breakfast and the 3 course dinner was lovely, although a little disappointing after the last time we were here.
However, staying in the lodge is a real treat if you are heading off into the Kruger and staying in the rest camps. Will definitely come back again.
